’24 movie’ to shoot by year end

In an interview with “Extra’s” AJ Calloway, Kiefer Sutherland, star of hit show ’24′ claimed that shooting of the upcoming 24 movie was to be underway within 8 months, or by the end of 2011.

“It’s a very difficult thing to take something you’ve done for eight years, almost two hundred episodes, and try to find a story that’s going to be unique and yet service the history of the show as well,” Sutherland said.

The delay comes after the first script was rejected for lacking suspense and compelling story. Whilst this means a later release for 24 fans, this is surely a good sign that the quality of the movie will not be compromised for the sake of meeting deadlines.
